When we are asked which profession we would consider switching to, our answer is always the same: wildlife photographers.

Let us clarify one thing. We love our jobs. Never would we have imagined that we would get paid to write about animals getting adopted and to put together collections of goofy animal memes, and we love every second of it, even years later. But if there is one - just one - profession that we would consider switching to, it's this one. It's wildlife photography. And it is not because we think that job is easy. We know for a fact that it's actually incredibly difficult. It's just because of this genre of photo.

Animals interrupting wildife photographers. Every single image of this kind makes us so incredibly jealous. The way that these humans simply get to interact with and be around these animals, hang our in their environments for so long that they just blend in, that they are no longer seen as threats, that they becomes something the animals are curious about enough to approach, to check… oh, we're so jealous. Alas, we think that we will be making the switch anytime soon, so for now, we'll just have to live our dreams through these pictures.

We legitimately cannot imagine the joy of moments like these. Not only being surrounded by wolves, but smiling through it. It is so very clear that these wolves not only know this photographer but also know that he is not a threat and not something to hunt. This is a friend. This human is kind. They have basically made him a part of their pack, and honestly? We have never been more jealous in our lives.

Scratch that, we are even more jealous right meow. A little cheetah just chilling on this man's head. We could not be more in love. Cheetahs have such a special place in our animal-loving hearts. These meowing, affectionate cats… it is our dream to pet one of these fluffy things. And this man is living our dream. Now that we're thinking about it… maybe it is time to consider a change of prrofession. It's worth it for the cats.
